Why thanks so much for your nuanced and constructive response. I actually have some respect for Mr Neil’s interview style. but my article isn’t about that, it’s about the absence of nuance in the almost universally one sided praise given to Mr Neil for his interview, and the absence of critique which suggests giving Shapiro exposure to an even wider audience - given his often hateful and inflammatory views - is perhaps counterproductive. I’m not quite sure of your motives for defending Tory austerity, which has caused untold unnecessary deaths, and finally, it’s clear that Mr Neil has expressed highly questionable views on climate change:

He will be missed and people should be called out, but Mr Neil should not be immune from this process.
